Upcoming Events:

The next event will be a networking coffee so please stop by for a cup of coffee or tea and chat with Chapter officers and fellow alumni on November 11, 2007 from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm at Peet’s Coffee & Tea located at the corner of Ygnacio Valley & Clayton Roads.

The next open Chapter meeting will be held in Room LB236 on the Concord Campus on April 08, 2008 – this would be a good time to attend and learn more about the Chapter and its activities. We look forward to seeing you at any of these and other future events.

Past Events:

  • On Saturday, October 27, 2007, the Chapter hosted an Oktoberfest-style reception on the Concord Campus. This was a family-oriented and fun event! Attendees participated in a pumpkin carving contest, mixed and mingled while trying to figure out the name of the person, place, or thing on their back, and put forth their best guess on the number of M & M’s contained in a jar. Prizes were given out while guests enjoyed snacking on the Oktoberfest inspired treats and beverages served.

  • On Saturday, August 18, the Chapter participated in Fall Orientation held on the Concord Campus. This was an important event for us as we were able to introduce the Chapter to incoming students. Many people think that they must wait until graduation to join an alumni organization, however, there are benefits for current students too! Specifically, the CSUEB Concord Chapter can be a vital link between you, alumni, community leaders, and business owners by hosting events where all can come together to develop a working relationship. By establishing those contacts while in school and nurturing those relationships, students may find inspiring mentors or potential future employers in active alumni as they prepare for graduation.
